Parent Helper Team (PHT) is the Parent/Family association at Meare Village Primary School. It is open to all parents/carers/members of the local community and exists for the sole benefit of Meare pupils.

Fund Raising

We meet every half term in a very relaxed environment to discuss and arrange events to raise money for the children and the school.  At the Christmas School Fair we raised an amazing £1,352!  The Halloween Disco was very much enjoyed by the children and raised a fantastic £158. This will be spent on a slide for the school field. 

All the money raised goes back to the children either subsidizing activities and visits, as well as buying those items the school’s own budget can’t afford. 

Can you help?

Any help, big or small is welcome. Whether you are an ideas person, a cake baker, an organizer or a shopper we will have a role for you! You don’t even have to attend meetings to be actively involved. We also welcome any ideas for fundraising events.
