Over the last few weeks Pegasus children have been learning a lot about doubling and halving and how it can help them in all areas of maths.

They have been identifying near doubles and using this to add two numbers.
They have also been looking at the relationship between the 2,4 and 8 times tables. They have noticed that if they double or halve their answers they can find the answers to the other times tables.
